[It's about seven a.m., early in the morning. This is actually considered sleeping in for Aya whichever way you look at it. She's used to rising early for the shop, but since coming to Johto she's been gradually losing that edge, rising earlier than seven only if travel warranted it.
Yuki is the one with the gear this time, playing around with it. From where he's resting outside of the tent you can see a clear view of his paws and the bed, which Aya is just finishing making up. There were housekeepers to do it but it was sort of a force of habit.
It also happens to pick up the tail end of what she's saying.]
--nineteen today, but I really don't feel any different. I guess that's pretty normal, huh?
[Who is she talking to? Saki, of course, the Sneasel. The dark feline Pokemon is sitting perfectly balanced on the foot of Aya's bed, out of the way of the bedspread as her trainer smooths it down.]
Snea, snea! Sneasel. ["Hey, I can totally relate! I don't feel a day over a month... Hey, mutt, what do you think you're doing with Aya's gear?"
Sneasel pointed long claws accusingly at the dual canine resting his head next to the gear.]
[Aya notices and looks surprised, then makes a face that clearly says "Ewww.".] Eh? Yuki! When did you get a hold of that? Gross, you got drool all over it! [She laughs helplessly and shuts off the gear as she retrieves it cautiously with the end of one long sleeve.]
